The switch controller has an easy to understand panel to start a timed procedure. A single gang box is an electrical box that would hold, for example, an electrical outlet and in our case the switch controller. The single panel fits into a single gang box. The switch controller is a single panel that is connected to the digital display by a wire. The countdown and count up functions are controlled by a switch controller. It display accurate synchronized time when it is not in timer mode, it can perform a countdown function, and it can perform a count up function. These countdown timers provide a crucial function in the operating rooms of many hospitals. The countdown timer provides three main functions.

We have our countdown timers installed in healthcare facilities throughout the United States. They have helped me immensely. Our Digital LED Countdown Timer can be used for many different applications. The number one market is the healthcare industry. You can decide to continue the task but start another timer, and determine what it is you want to get done in that time.Ĭountdown timers can help put structure around your life. When the timer finishes, that's it, stop what you're doing. OBEY THE TIMER: Whatever the timer says, you do. There is only ONE rule to make all of this work Setting a timer puts a start and end time to what you're doing to ensure you're don't spend time on something just because time is available. There's a law called Parkinson's Law which states that "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion". It takes a little more planning to do it this way but I've found I've become more purposeful with how I approach my work day Or I look at a task and think, this should take 15 min and then I purposefully work to get it done during that allotted time. In my case, I start with 5 min of WORK, then build my way up from there. But you don't need to set a 25 minute task, or stick to a 5 minute break. There was just no way I could do a 25 min task, with a 5 min break. In the past, I tried pomodoro but it was too inflexible. If it's something I love (that is say something I should dedicate some time to but not toooo much time), then it helps make sure I don't go overboard. So if it's something I hate, I think 'I only need to do this for x minutes' and suck it up.

They give me space to focus, knowing that I'll just do something for x number of minutes, then move to the next thing. Timers also help me focus on one thing at a time. I struggle to internally grasp the concept of 'time', but timers make time external to me, something I can see passing. Almost like I'm racing against the clock (I'm a very competitive person). Timers also create pressure and a sense of urgency for me to get a task done. Timers make me feel calm because they won't let me suddenly lose track of time. Otherwise I could lose 1hr and not even realise it. When I get dressed in the morning, I set a timer. Time blindness means you have a very poor sense of how time is passing, and also a hard time estimating how long things will take. I was diagnosed with ADHD around 10yrs ago, and one thing which often goes hand in hand with ADHD is 'time blindness'. A friend of mine thought I was crazy and said he would never do this as it's too extreme.but it works for me 🤷🏻♀️.
